harmonic balancer bolt question

i originally posted in wrong spot...anyway i have 1985 302. Which way do you turn bolt to get off? I thought it was clockwise?

trying to remember but I'm pretty sure it's counterclockwise. been about 6 months since I did my motor so I'm not too sure anymore

Hit that bolt counterclockwise with an impact of any sort and it will come out easier than hell, I have had to take mine off a few times after degreeing a camshaft ;-)
