We're going to see $4.00 and maybe $5.00 per gallon of gas.
It just depends on how fast it gets there.
At this rate; a few hours from now.

The thing that irks me the most is,You read in the paper how the big oil companies are making record profits, but that the government did an investigation and there was no price gouging or manipulating.Yeah right!

$2.75 for 87 octane at Pennzoil in Natrona Heights, Pa. ( about 20 miles NE of Pittsburgh) forgot to check the diesel.I figure it'll be $3.00 by the end of April.

Well what do you expect from an organization that’s part of the problem. The government would never admit that they are the source of the problem.

And if they did admit that they were the source of the problem, people would soon forget anyway.
The general public has a short memory.

This is very disturbing indeed. If fuel prices hit over 4.00 per gallon, the economy is in real trouble. What is going to hurt is when people have to spend an extra $100 per week...$400 per month just to fill up.....
The economy thrives on consumer spending....how much consumer spending will there be when prices jump that high. Disturbing indeed.
