For all of you who have had to endure my posts complaining that Bronco repairs were eating into my "Harley fund," well I got my bike! I am now the proud owner of a 2002 Heritage Springer, all shiny black and chrome. If it ain't black, it's chrome! Any of you Colorado Bronco drivers that have bikes, I'm ready to ride (well, as soon as I get my motorcycle endorsement).
I lived in Florida, until recently. I hope to make Daytona 2003. I used to go there for Bike Week and vowed to go with my own bike one day. I'll be at Sturgis this year though, not too far from Colorado.
And now you've got a more reliable piece of transportation, with better gas mileage, too! Congratulations, and hang on to that Bronco! Now you've got the best of both worlds, the 4X4 for when you need a truck or when the weather is bad, and the Harley for when the weather is nice and it's time to cruise.
Thanks All. Yes I am keeping the Bronco. It was part of the plan to get the bike anyway, got rid of my high payment new truck and got the Bronco for cash money to get rid of payments. And now that it has lots of new parts, it should last a long time (knock on wood). I just turned the odometer over 100,000 on Saturday, not bad for a 1990.
