60" or 48" light bar?

I'm going to order a Fire and Ice light bar for my '04 F-150. I'm 99% sure the 60" size is correct but my truck is 200 miles away and the weather is too crappy to cruise a parking lot to measure one. Is 60" the correct one? Thanks!

You're gonna want the 60" bar. I just looked up the specs, and our trucks are 78.9" wide.

Can you post pics when you get it installed? I looked at one yesterday, and I'm also interested in getting one.

I think it depends on whether you have a styleside or a flareside.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered the 60" model. Blame it on the crappy weather and not much to do. It will be a couple of weeks before I get the lights and travel to my truck. I don't want you guys waiting on pics so here is the website I purchased from with their pics. Thanks again.

I didn't like the look of neon all across the back of my truck, so I got one of these: http://www.reconaccessories.com/Mini...ight%20Bar.htm Looks great, install was not easy(taking your tailgate off helps) but much more permanent then the sticky ones. It don't have the backup light, but the brake light puts out quite a bit of light. Plugged it into the flat 4 so no wiring needed.

How do you plan to mount the LED light bar? Secured to the bottom of the tail gate or the box lip? Not much space between the bottom of the tail gate and fender.
