I have a 6 inch lift in the front and 6 inch rear leaf springs in the back and a removed the front and rear sway bars because they were binding up from the angles of the lift. I know you can drill lower holes in the rear of the frame for the rear but what can you do about the front sway bar? I like the way the truck handles in the dirt but cannot stand the way the rear handles on the pavement. Does anyone make longer bars that drop down to accomodate a lifted suspension?
If I remember correctly Hellwig makes a swaybar kit that is designed for lifted trucks. You may want to check into that for the rear. I know they make drop down kits for the front stock swaybar. I think all it is are spacer blocks that go between the frame and the swaybar mounts.
I remember seeing a website that someone had designed a quick disconnect for a bronco front swaybar if I find the link I'll post it. It looked like alot of work to do but in the end it has to be worth it. I haven't taken my swaybar off yet and I know I'm loosing alot of suspension travel because of it.
