Cartoon Effie

saw this on coverage of Goodguys DelMar. I don't like the look, but admire the talent necc to do it. But doesn't it look like some toy truck from Walmart shelf?

The first thing that comes to my mind seeing those big wheels on it is it looks like a full sized Hot Wheels truck. It needs a big orange track laid out in front of it. With a loop.

It's a cool thing to see, it does look like a wild hotwheel or something you'd see on TV on Saturday morning. You show up at a car show and go "Hey check that out!" and then you move on. It's cool to see, but I wouldn't want to own it.

I agree, I have not embraced the "bigwheel" look.

I feel the same about the "big wheels". That truck would be something to look at in the show and admire the work it took to get it there, but I wouldn't want it sitting in my driveway.

I agree with the rest of you. I don't like the big wheels look. I resent that you can't buy a regular "HotWheels" car (or any of the others) without stupid graphics and big wheels.

I, like the rest of you, can really appreicate the amount of time, talent, and work that went into creating a truck like that and would like to see it in person, its just not my style and not what I would do with my truck.

Thats one of the things that makes this hobby so great though...

Bobby

I was at this shoe in Del Mar, I saw the truck up close. The front end doesn't resemble a F100 at all, lot of people taking pictures, because it's different. Not my taste, and actually felt sorry for the truck...

I'm in total agreement with the gang. Actually kind of cool looking, and someone is obviously talented, but I'm hoping/wishful thinking they just made it all out of fiberglass so some real effie didn't get cut up like that! To each his own, I guess.

The fenders look way out of proportion along with the wheels.

U.G.L.Y.!!!! It looks squished and the huge wheels...well...its been said.

Hotwheels...yeah. Real truck...NO. Lots of hours and talent put into it. It will get attention, but not the good kind. More like: "WHY? and Poor truck!!!"
