Correct oil filter?
Wix 51004 is what I got. Is that correct for a 64 292?
Parts store catalog was offbase and had a 302 listed for my year, but it was the only filter that was not a spin-on.

oil filter
do you have a spin on filter or canister type? the 51515 is a wix spin on for fords for a lot of years napa #1515 which is a wix filter the 51004 # 1004 napa # is a canister type if memory serves me correctly ( but i have crs at times) are you sure the block is a 64? or maybe earlier?if its a cannister type? i will look tommorow as my oil filter book i took to work and cant look now but will look tommorow julie
