So far I love it. Not quite stock, no Flattie but the 272 did run fine when I parked it 4 years ago and seems to be ok now.
I might have to rat rod it for this summer but next year I want to spend more time and afew more $ on it.
For the first while but it does deserve the body & paint job as it`s in fairly nice shape.
I`m not into body and paint work so I`ll keep an eye open for someone to do it in my shop.
That is one of the things I look forward about taking early retirement. I can stay home and do the autobody restro on people trucks and cars. First have to get a few things paid off and the shop prepared.
Yes I pretty good. Just takes time to do it right. The time is what can be costly to people. Lots of guys take short cuts. I try my best to get everywhere on the car as best I can.
I prefer body work over doing engine stuff. But it goes hand in hand. So you need to know both, but I always stayed on the body work stuff. I love doing that work.
lol...i'm not good at either, but i enjoy getting into an engine and stuff better than bodywork. the wiring is my favorite part. especially the stereo's...
