could someone help me with a grease question, re: 1998 f-150?

i don't know very much about mechanics. i mainly know i love my 1998 flareside, and want to keep it along time. can anyone tell me how many, and where any zerk fittings are underneath the truck. i could only find one the other day, but i swear i greased six a few years ago. it is a 1998 xlt, 4.6 liter, automatic, 2 wheel drive.
thanks for any help. it is bugging the crap out of me.

Can't tell you for sure where or how many will be on your truck since some of the manufacurers have gone to non-greseable. Check upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods and u-joints. Grease anything you can find a zerc on.

from the factory there might be one on the steering idler arm bushing. i doubt you have any on the tie rods and non on the original ball joints. since its a 98 there is a good chance you have new ball joints on the bottom that may have zerks, and new drive shaft universals that might have zerks.

things with possible grease zerks.

upper and lower ball joints
inner and outer tie rod ends
idler arm and idler arm joint
pitman arm
front and rear u-joints

if they are all factory parts however there will only be one on the idler arm.
