Have heard good things about the AFE systems and was wodnering what you guys think about their intake for the new 6.4L diesel. I am leaning towards the pro guard 7 layer oiled filter vs. the dry filter.

AFE released the filter already. I ordered mine yesterday from 4 Wheel Parts and it should be here by Sat. if not Monday.
I spoke with AFE today and they said yes it was released, however there are like 410 parts on back-order..
I can only hope to have it in about a month or so!!!
Keep you all posted
BIG2NA.
great filter dont ever take it to the dealer with the stock filter gone .
Thats only the second dumbest thing ive read today, they are not gonna void a warranty for an Intake or a DPF back exhaust. Now if you go cutting the DPF off and mess with emissions they are going to void it, but, other than that I dont think Ford is gonna buckle.
Intake is installed and looks super clean. I am really happy with the way everything came out. As for power, I am not gonna say I notice a diffrence because the truck is still to new for me to tell. I know there is some performace gain, but I dont feel its anything that is to obivous. I also noticed a bit more noise with the spooling which I like.

If they see the filter they will note it on your record, and if you ever have any turbo problems or dirt in the engine they will not cover the repairs under warranty. they learned from the 6.0 and will use anything to get out of the warranty. do what ever you want its your truck just dont complain when your warranty claims are turned down.
