05 6oh From cali question...
This may be nothing, maybe everything. I just found out that my truck was sold in cali before I purchased it used just last year. My question is did they do anything different to the 6.0's for cali dealerships? Are they tuned down or anything different on the emissions area that i dont know about? I live in colorado so im curious what would be different with all the regulations that cali has anymore.

Hi Sean, I live in So. Cal. and I asked the same question. I was told that since we don't smog check diesels here (at least for now) al the emissions stuf should be the same as anywhere else. anyone one can correct me if I'm wrong, that was just my understanding. =)

Mines an 04 cali truck, If I pull the EGR the check engine light comes on, thats about the only thing different that I know of on it. But I think 05 and up 6.0s are all the same, there all cali compliant
