Edge Evolution DTC'S

Hey guys, I looked in the tech folders trying to find the description for troulbe codes P132, and P0432. These codes keep coming up and then they will clear and stay off for a day or two. The Tech folder didn't have these codes listed. Also P1000 self test not complete seems to always be on. Can anyone help? And are these codes something that are serious and should be looked at right away?

Not sure what your first 2 codes are without looking at my Mitchel On Demand, but P1000 is a Ford code indicating not all self tests are complete. This code will always be there until all self test monitors run.

have you gotten any reprogramming updates or recalls done? p132b code is a 03 style build code for the pcm strategy not learning for the turbo, probably due to your tuner. check to see if there is an update for your tuner because as long as you have this code, your truck will never be right, your ac will never work right, and your truck wont shift properly.

Thanks for the quick replies. I had the reflash 06e17 done, and l looked under the hood, and on the sticker it says reprogramed pcm 3u7a-12a650-fta on 11-20-03. This was done at dealer before i purchased the truck. I don't know if that code on the sticker is the reprograming code or not? I'll try to contact edge but i thought this evolution was the latest product and should of covered the newist updates.

the 06e17 recall was done after 11/03. this recall is the one causing the issues due to the running strategy. edge will probably have a update for you.

I had this code as well dag/pa. although, my a/c worked fine and the truck shifted fine. some other things I know that will cause this code are an exhaust or intake leak, turbo underboost or your truck could be flowing too much air. I had an afe stage 2 installed and this code came on less then 200 miles after installation. took it off and code hasn't come back. my .2cents here is a link with some info to the 06E17 flash. gives you better understanding into the new strategy and even details on the code you have. http://www.fordinstallersupport.com/...atsnew/DTL.pdf

the p1000 was the code i was referring to as the one to affect the shifting and ac performance. many things can cause the p132b code, but when its paired with p1000 its tuner related.
