Who's playing better hockey than the Sharks right now?
You two could at least root for them as your western conference team. Two hot goalies, Joe Thornton playing BIG right now...They're the team. Jump on the bandwagon before it passes you by on the way to claim Lord Stanley's Cup!

As long as I can drive the bandwagon, I'll jump on.

I'd have to say that there are a number of teams playing better right now - Buffalo, New Jersey, and Detroit to name a just a few.

Gotta go with the Red Wings. More players on their team with playoff experience.
My 2 cents.

since we have no NHL team in NewEngland, we used to have one years ago call the Bruins but they were bought out by a man who is only concerned with hot dog sales!
it becomes a love hate thing as to who i likein the playoffs, lets see no southern teams, sorry hockey does not belong in Florida or San Jose, No NY teams they have 3 teams Isles/rangers/Devils sorry no Detroit, yes i know they love the sport but they have already tasted victory many times recently, sorry no Pittsburg, the city almost lost their second NHL francise, sorry no Buffalo, i know the fans have never tasted from the cup, however one of their biggest fans is bruins owner jeremy jacobs!
so the only team left is-------- go SENATORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

FreireFishing: i don't hate the bruins, i watch every game, unlike 99% of the population, I REFUSE!!! to support that POS owner who has single handed destroyed the oldest American NHL team!! through his actions and inactions! bottom-line HE NEEDS TO GO! only way he'll sell is if no one supports him!!! i have not been to a game in over 20 years!!!!! Mr Jacobs showed us how he had no intention of ever producing a winning team! when despite being one of the top grossing teams in revenue chose to spend like an expansion team!!
Hockey does not belong in Tampa Bay -- sorry! just Bettemans way of ruining the NHL!

Looks like my rooting isn't helping much. 4-0 after two.

But I'm glad to see Buffalo is beating up on those losers from downstate.

If I picked with my heart, the Sharks would play the Penguins for the Cup.
BUT
In reality - I don't think Pitts is that good, not yet. Look out as they mature, though.

San Jose, that's more likely.

I'm just hoping that...
1) The Red Wings falter and lose in the 1st round again (Calgary better get hot)
2) All other series go to 7 games.
3) Mrs. Turtle becomes as interested in it as I am. (OK that won't happen, but as long as I don't miss any action due to "Men in Trees", everything'll be just fine)

if pit doesnt lose anyone in the near future, they will dominate, i hope not but, malkin & crosby combo is unreal......

my teamwent down last night (t.b ), but scoring 3 against marty is a feat, nevermind on his home turf and in the playoffs. t.b. has had golie issues for the last 3 months, and it showed last night.
