460 big block
Alright i just got this 79 ford bronco with a 460 in it. Its got the 4 barrel holley carb with twin fuel lines. The engine is not timed right so i need to retime it yet i dont know what to set it to because it doesnt say so on the engine. If anyone can help me i would be greatly appreciated cause im really tired of shooting out fireballs.

I've got a 79 bronco with a 460 also. The way I time mine is with a vaccuum gauge. Hook the gauge to manifold vaccuum and turn the distributer until you find the point were the vaccuum peeks and then back the timing off just a quarter inch or so. This method works well for me, hopefully it works for you.
