1979 460 v8
On Easter I was at my parents house and talked with thier neighbor about an old 1979 F250 camper special with a 460/C6 ranger with race track molding chrome headlight bezels and chrome step bumper, anyway not a bad truck, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being perfect ist is about a 6 or 7. Owner says the timming chain is out, has a 351 in the bed of the truck, will sell to me for $500, I am trying to talk him down. All I want is the front grill, headlight bezel, front and rear bumper. I am going to swap these parts off my 1979 custom F150 with this truck then sell it for what I end up paying for it. Question is there a demand for a motor 460 v8/c6 trannies? What would be a good price to pay and then sell? Remember the timming chain is supposedly out.
