Royal Filter anyone?

Hi was wondering if anyone has had any experance with the Royal Filter lifetime filter with the stainless steel filter media.

They say it is supposed to be way better than the paper replacable filter if so for around $100 it would be a good deal.

I have seen these things come & go, my favorite was the mid 70's roll of toilet paper filter! you actually put a roll of toilet paper into a canister & you're oil filtered through it, it sold a lot of rebuilt engines! stick with the proven technology ford spent way more money on filtration research than this guy & I think I would have a difficult time explaining to my wife how a $100.00 filter cost me a $9000.00 engine please leave the TP in the bathroom.

actully tp is the best filter you could ask for on a by-pass set up...awesome micron filteration. i would stick with the stock OEM racor filters and a by-pass i use amsoil for mine....

I guess neither have looked at the filter on the $4500 transmission yet. It is just a miniature version of a roll of toilet paper. Cut one open next time you change it and come back to this thread and show some pictures. It will negate your previous statement. As to what WishI said, that is true due to the oiling system of the 6.0 engine, in the torqshift, the toilet paper filter is a full flow.

put a roll of tp in some oil & let it soak you will see my point! there is no adhesion binder unlike the torqueshift filter toilet paper is designed to disolve I don't want raw celluose contaminating my injectors & bearings sorry I won't buy that snake oil I mean Amsoil line of reasoning!

Stick with the stock oil filter, If you want more, install an oilguard system, You'll love it!

Perhaps ur looking at the wrong amsoil system...my set up is a 8" spin on 2 micron filter no tp in it....its not like the system you pay 300 dollars for from fs or oil guard that uses tp or a ball of yarn....nor do i think amsoil makes a system like that...i dont run there oil either to much money. just spin it off every 10k throw it away and slap a new one on simple as that...
