Keep trying it by the sequence in the manual, it took me several tries to get it to work but it does work and very nice NOT to listen to the chime.
PS, I always wear mine when on the road, it's just nice to have it disabled when in the driveway, loading things, hooking up the trailer, etc., etc.

Most of the time if you can't get the procedure in the manual to work you are doing it too fast or missed a step. I have found that buckling for 2 seconds, unbuckling for 2 seconds, seems to be about the perfect pace. I have done this on 4 trucks now and have got it to work the first time on the last 3.

Also, as far as I know the Super Duty trucks do not have the sensors in the seat to see peoples weight. That is why they have to put the airbag shutoff switch on the passenger side.

Ford actually makes a seatbelt extender. You can go to the dealership and ask for one. They are free. It's just a short piece of seatbelt with a male and a female end. Solves the problem if you can't shut off the reminder.

I always wear my seatbelt when I drive. But in order to drive, I need to enter and exit the vehicle 3X before I leave the driveway. So I disabled the chime, following the directions in the owners manual. Most people who fail to get it to turn off following the directions are doing it too quickly. I think you have 30-45 seconds to do the proceedure before timeout.

This is on an 06 F350 --- Anyone have any suggestions, besides "buckle up!"
Thanks man, I did not know you could do this. It works perfect if you go nice and easy.
