oil leak

According to your other post, you have a 400. If the oil is on top at back of engine, check the oil pressure sending unit. It will only leak of course when the engine is running. Usually the larger gauge type senders are pretty good for not leaking, but the much smaller idiot-lite senders tend to come apart as they are only sort of crimped together. If this is not where the leak is, let us know.
