yes...that I understand...but for testing purposes....hot or cold?....or no matter cause GPR gets turned on regardless.

Well...I might of found my problem...maybe....I was testing and not quite sure what I was doing becaue I didn't print Plowhand's instruction and decided to put everything back on.....that's when.....drumroll please....one of the gosh darn! big post just snapped off as I was tightening the nut on it....I mean...I wasn't torquing on it yet....just cinching her down...and it broke off.....looking inside the gaping whole it left...it looked like it got real...real hot in there....dunno if it's a sign of anything. Now my truck is laid up...no parts store open at 8pm...so I have to take my wife's car tomorrow and get a new GPR...and see what happens....

And then....print Plowhand's instruction ahahahah so I know what I am doing

Yes, I would say that you found a bad GPR solenoid. NAPA carries a replacement cheaper than Ford.

Bought a GPR at NAPA this moring for about 55$CAD.....will put it in tonite...and give it a go.....

and see how it behaves after that....then on to the other electrical problem from my other post.....

As always....you guys rock!!!

Changed my GPR....seems to have fixed it....time will tell...on to the next issue...hahah....this truck keeps my evenings busy....I fight less with the wife that way hahah

Have to ask. You changed the GPR but did you do the switch? Curious minds want to know! Only 6 days left before install!!!!!!!!

I didn't do the switch....I want to see how it is now.....if I find that i'm not liking how it's performing.....I'l do the switch....I bought all the parts already hahahah...might as well put it in...but....knowing my luck with this truck...it would probably break something esle in the process !!!
