Did somebody ask about tailgate cables??
I decided to check out Chevytalk.com just to see what they complain about. I found one post on their tailgate cables. I remember somebody in one of these forums discussing the weight limit. Well, apparently Chevy's are even less than Fords. One dude was loading something on his truck at home depot, stood on his tailgate and both cables snapped on him which dropped him and creased his gate on the bumper... Another guy has already had to replace his twice. Oh wait, I forgot to mention the first guy, his truck was an 01. Then at the bottom it has "longest lasting, most dependable...you know." I believe the next forum was "6th fuel pump...." 
hmm I guess I will stick with my ol Ford.
