hazard lights
my 4 way flashers don't work. dealer wants over a $100 to replace a multi function switch that he claims is the problem. Anybody know where on my 98 f150 this switch is located so that maybe I can replace it my self?

I would surely find and replace the 4-way flasher first. You've got 2 flashers under the dash. Put your turn signals on and find that flasher by the clicking noise. That's NOT the one you want. Somewhere under there, is another one just like it. Replace it and see if they work. It will cost you a couple of dollars and some of your time.
They can be hard to find sometimes. My old '87 van had the 4-way flasher up behind the speedometer above the steering column, and I had to pull the whole dash to get to it. Hopefully yours will be easier to find.
