If you are buying it is worth what you are willing to pay.
If you are selling it was worth every penny that you sold it for.
These trucks have no cash value at all, the only value they retain is what the market will accept. Just because somebody has a mint condition 1983 Ford F-Series truck for sale does not mean it is worth as much or more than it stickered for new. The truck is still 24 years old and used. Keep it real!

There are well known places online that will give you a ballpark figure. www.kbb.com is usually a little low, and www.nada.com is usually about right.
