'01 radio problems

'01 radio problems
This last week we took a nine day trip and I had several different radio problems.
1) the CD player wouldn't always give me the CD back.. It would come up no CD in player or CD error.Finally settled down,but ejected the cd several times without the button being pushed.
2) pushed the radio tune button and it didn't work,so pushed the seek button and it wouldn't stop seeking.Turned the radio off and then back on and it was ok. Then as we were coming home every time I would hit a bump the radio would go from the station I was on to the first preset and then the next preset and on.but not at the normal seek speed.I know it's weird,but are these radios that way.. I was talking with a guy that had an '01 V10 and his radio does funny things,at times, too.I don't really want to replace the radio right now as I have better things to do with my money,like a 4" exhaust and a programmer and slide toppers for the trailer..

same thing mine does most of the time..As I was bringing it home from Denver,I thought it would be cool to load all 6 slots at once and then play shuuffle.. It would play some from one cd and then from another and then back to the first one.. It never did play about three of them and then to top it off kept telling me that there weren't any in there when I tried to eject them.

go and get the cd cleaner kit and run it through a couple of times. you can also blow it outusing the same stuff that you would clean a computer out. "canned air". if you dont think you want to take the chance, have a radio repair shop have it cleaned.

I have a ? since i'm new with the whole in dash 6disk CD changer. I just put 3 disks in it and hit the shuffle CD. All i can get it to do is shuffle the songs on the one CD am i doing something wrong or should i have it checked out, still under warranty.
