I put 6 in and it only would shuffle two on a regulat basis and 1 part time and three it never touched..

I found out today that I can get a good new single disc am/fm-cd player less than the dealer or radio shop wants to pull it and repair it..
It's still seeking after a bump amd now the cd player is doing it also..It doesn't seem to be a loose power wire as the presets don't go away as they would if the power was cut off.. Or is there something in the system that prevents this from happening if only for a second or so...I tried to blow out the buttons from the front with the air can,but it didn't do any good.I'm gonna try the coat hanger tool for removing the radio and try to blow it out that way...

I had the "no CD" problem in a used '01 from the time I bought it. Turns out there was a CD stuck in there from previous owner. It wouldn't eject because the label bubbled up. Got ahold of it with a tweezers and has worked fine since.

Bought the special tool for pulling the radio out and did what the directions said and pushed them in till I felt a click, then pulled them apart and pulled the radioout.. Lots of luck as the tools just pulled right out of the radio and it didn't move..

Help!!!.. I can't believe I'm having this much trouble with a durn radio...

It's working !!!!!!! I was messing around with it and had the A/C on at the same time.. I was getting a bad musty smell from the A/C,so I sprayed the inlets and vents with that A/C stuff in a pressure can and while I was doing that,I said screw it and sprayed the top row of radio buttons..Didn't do any good,so I got another can of computer air and just sprayed the heck outta every hole on the radio.. Guess what,it works as does the CD player..Butttt,the CD player doesn't want to give the cds back again.. It comes up saying cd error and then I pushed a stiff piece of cardboard into the open slot and here came the CD..It's worked several times and will be trying it again tomorrow...
