If I step on the brake pedal, that's the only thing that lights up. If I hook up a trailer its brake lights fail to light as well.
I have all other lighting, including signals on the truck and the trailer. I have checked all fuses. I've climbed under the truck and dash to look for any loose wires or connectors. I've checked the bulbs too.
Any ideas will be appreciated. I can't think of anything else, power apparently isn't getting to the back of the truck. BTW, this is an O3 X.
Well, this thread is all about me. And based on the above mentioned prior thread, I removed the cover from the steering column and ensured the connectors were connected to the switch and checked my brake lights and now I have all three! Thanks to all for this valuable resource. It looks like I've saved at least $150 and a day at the dealership, because when I started, I really hadn't a clue as to where to start.
Glad you got it fixed. Some people use wire ties and wrap them around the connectors to keep them together. They get stretched when the tilt wheel is moved.
