the passenger power door on my wifes 2000 windstr closes but opens again.the only way to keep it shut is to close it manually, now drivers side is starting to act up.any help would be appreciated..thanks
I looked at the diagrams, and it's pretty complicated. They have a module for each side. Where I would start is the switches that trigger the doors. Each module has one wired open/close switch, and also each module has a signal coming in from a remote.
I have never had one of these, but I am assuming you have a door open button on the key fob? I wonder if you take the batteries out of all your key fobs, would the problem go away? Otherwise, I would take the wired switches out and unplug them, and see if the problem went away.
