My worst one was the maiden trip with Our Denali. Went the wrong way going to the RV park at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, down a narrow road till I reached a high security area. After security cam and let me know I was in the wrong place 1/2 mile backing up to a little bitty turn out that was really not big enough to fit even the trailer into and it was on the outside in the middle of a curve. In the end other than wasting an hour and a half getting there.
This summer I went up a road to a ski area, knowing I'd be able to turn around in the large parking lots there. Turns out they lock a gate before the parking lot, and I had to do a "three point turn" on a 2-lane road without a spotter (was alone at the time) by the gate. That was really a "hundred point turn" but I got it done with minimal swearing, and no damage.
A water truck configured like the one in the second video I posted..............had to back one of them about a mile one a one lane road, over hills, around curves, steep banks on both sides.........I think there were NEW swear words invented that day!!!!! LOL
If you want a challenge.....Try backing a tow dolly with a super cab. Try backing a 4 wheel hay wagon around a county fair grounds. If you want entertainment....Go to campground or a boat ramp and just watch the show!

Yes a tow dolly is a pain even when empty. Been a number of years since I backed up a hay wagon and I don't want to.
Yes it is great fun to watch other people try to back things in and when the peanut gallery starts giving their 1/2 cent opinions it get's even more hilarious. I don't know how many times I go to the beach and watch people try to "HELP" someone stuck and get themselves in trouble.
I keep straps for family and close friends as well as 2 short shovels, one round nose and on flat.
Going to Gatlinburg towing our now departed Jayco 32 DSBH a few years ago. GPS likes to play games with you there. Sent us down a curvy 2 lane, more like 1-3/4 lane road. After a short distance we realized that this aint right. First T I pulled in and backed the camper back out basically doing a 3 point turn around. Impressed the wife, and myself, doing it in one try.

Impressing the wife always a good thing. Impressing yourself, priceless.
Cool video. At first I thought it was a rewind, then all the public looking I started thinking trailer was driving as to many actors in public spaces reacting naturally. The mesh is a great product huh. I have never seen that technology.
Strange thing about backing, with me anyway. I can back just about any configuration of trailer without too much trouble and put it where I want it, BUT;
Just watch so I don’t hit something while backing, don’t give me directions to turn left or right.......I will figure that out myself.
Also, don’t ask me to give directions while you back up. I will have you all screwed up.
Directing someone is very hard and can be confusing as heck. When I get my wife to help me, shes very good about saying little, and just stopping me from ramming something.
