hi i have a 95 f350 psd and my pedal is fading to the floor if i hold pressure on them. i replaced the master cyl and ive done rear brake wheel cyl there are no visual leaks the truck sat with the res cover off for a few weeks i am wondering what could cause this problem? im thinking possible flex lines being bad
or a caliper being bad
but i dont want to throw 150 bucks down the drain if its not the calipers
thanks in advance
dan
Coukd be a faulty master cylinder. However I had the same problem with my `87 F250 and it turned out to be a faulty RABS valve unit. Unless your calipers are leaking it is unlikely to be them. There have been problems with flex hoses swelling under pressure but I would think it unlikely too. Are you sure you have no fluid leaks?
Ibleedfordblue, I guess he's another one of those guys that just use us for our knowledge, and only come back when they need more. It's a tough job,but somebody has to do it. hang in there man.
