Is it Spring yet?

I can't believe it. Here we are in April and today the high temp was what is normal for the low. Tonight it is supposed to be in the teens. BRRRRR.

The local car club had a cruise to "Shakes" tonight. That didn't last long! Who wants to sit outside and eat ice cream or frozen yogurt. I took the TBird and ran the heater to whole time.

I went out a couple of nights ago and cut some of the lilac branches with buds and brought them in the house so the wife can have a few of her favorite spring flower before the freeze gets them.

You did check the antifreeze in the vehicle that you started driving again after winter didn't you?

You can tell the freeze last night really hit things hard. And to think it's going to hit even harder tonight. I thought I was done burning firewood but I fired up the stove last night will keep it going through the weekend now.

I was watching the temperature on Intellicast from out here at work....got here at 6, and it stayed at 24 degrees until an hour ago or so. Up to 27 now. Guess it's a good Saturday to be working.

For some reason it's not spring yet at least not this week again. Maybe next week it'll let us know.

We've had a heat wave today because the temp is now up to almost 38 degrees at 4:30 pm. I don't know if the ham that I'm smoking in the smoker for tomorrow will ever get done

Hope it lets up a bit so I can get over the Rocky's to Utah. Flowers died . I think the trees are going to start turning back.
