oil question
okay everyone i changed the oil in the diesel with delvac 15 40 what we use in the big rigs, and i installed a PS oil filter well i started the truck oil gauge now is lower then what it was before and it moves back and forth now. before it stayed 3/4 the way up and never moved. now at idle it is just below half on the gauge and when driving it moves to the middle. and now the engine makes less nosie now with this oil instead of the shell. has anyone had this to happen before??

With 94 you have an on/off switch for the guage activates at 7psi.... There is a mod you can do for real time oil pressure on the electronic dash's. I will try to locate it.
Less noise is good........ as for the fluctuating guage check the wiring at the oil pressure sensor.....I believe on the Turbo.
