FMC Trucks Catalogue now has for sale the correct bumper,it's reasonably priced in chrome or in primer. They don't,however, offer it in their triple chrome plated,so can't vouch for the chromes' longevity.Steve
posted a couple of pics in my gallery. hope they help.
The type as pictured in this members gallery were available chrome or painted. This is the contoured rear bumper, so named for the "dip" in the center. There was also a factory painted step bumper available. See Col. Flashman's gallery.
There also was a painted straight (channel) rear bumper offered. It resembles the ones used 1953/56 F100/350, but the 53/56 rear bumper won't fit a 57/60..
The rear bumper brackets for the Styleside rear bumper are the same exact ones used for the Flareside rear bumper. The brackets were used 1957/72, but a Flareside rear bumper itself, will not work on a Styleside.
Since the 1961/63 F100/250's and 1961/66 F350's used the same Styleside pickup beds the 1957/60's used, there are more options when searching junkyards, as these later trucks used the same bumper.
