As usual I am busy busy busy.
First thing, is to buy a house. Then get my wrecks out of Fom's sight I would have done both by now if the housing market didn't sky rocket so badly.
The Galaxie is getting a new cylinder head and all new roller rockers. Drag racing is going to be kept to a minimum to afford that new house.
As of Saturday I got the '52 F-1 ready for cruising and took it for a spin with the little woman.. nothin beats that ole flathead sound. Just needs a wash and wax once the streets are swept. Had I known about the meeting I could have came out... doh.. I was even on 8th getting ice cream
Im actually planning on moving back to sask this summer. Hopefully getting a acreage outside of saskatoon. I cant wait to see how much cash my house out here makes me!
Still a few places my way for sale. Maybe you should try for the 80 acres west of Delisle with a creek and valley running through it. They are very lovely places. There still lots of land out towards Asquith for sale. You can then build on. The land is cheaper than north and east and south of Saskatoon. Not much, but is a little cheaper. Some of the land that way is sure bushy and sandy.
Yeah I know dustin that would be great! Glen do you have any more info about some of those properties you jsut mentioned? That 80 acres with a creek running through it sounds great!
are you planning to work/farm?? or a real early retirement?? i could keep an eye out here for ya, i know of one right now...check out lane realty. they have all the farm/acreage listings. you know we need members in the yorkton area here...
Sorry sherm, but its back to stoon for me! There may be a slight chance of getting a place outside of PA again, but that wont be my first choice. Thats kind of a job opportunity that may happen in PA and if it does I will be going there! And that will be my better half's job, not mine haha.
As for working or farming, I will keep working on the patch for abit I think, the cash is so hard to turn down. I worked out last winter and was able to buy my superduty with what I made, so I wouldnt mind doing that for another winter or two. I wish I could do the early retirement thing, only if I win the 6 49!
