coil spring spacers?

I want 33" tires. I'm thinking 33 12.5 15's or 16's on black rockcrushers. I dont know what back spaceing to use so I'll take suggestions. I dont want the tires sticking out of the fenders if possible. The main question is can I just get a 2" lift by sticking a coil spacer in there? Would this make my trucks front end darty? Thanks. O yeah if this is OK then where would be a good place to find them?

well as for your backspacing question.... go with the factory ford 5x5.5 back spacing... .. just put the tires on 10 wide rims.. and you'll be fine... as for your coil spacer question.. ive heard lots of bad about coil spacers.. is this a daily driver if it is... i would suggest against.. it.. some people say with those when you hit the breaks.. feels like your front end is gonna slide under you ... so i mean its basically up to you .. if i was u.. if the trucks in good shape.. get a suspension lift... do it.. right... lol and dont kill yourself

84blackmagic, 5x5.5 is the lug pattern..... That's nothing to do with backspacing.
When you buy wheels most will come with around 3.5" - 4" backspacing which is good and won't stick out to far.

I have some coil spring spacers on my 77 F100, and they lifted them about 1.5"(at least what they sagged over 30 years). I don't like them to much, but don't have much money, and they aren't giveing me any problems.

For your truck, you could clear 33s stock, but if you start flexing it out, you will rub quickly.
The truck will fill alittle sluggish with 33s and stock gears, but not bad enough to spend $1,000+ on gears.
You might need to cut or shim out your front bumper, and if you still get rubbing, you might want to do a front leveling kit(1.5"-2" lift). It should give you new coils and C bushings. After that you would want to align the truck or your tires would wear uneven.

Thanks for the replys. I'm going with the 12.50 width tires & probably 4" backspacing. I guess I'll go ahead and get the proper lift. I just dont want to spend the money.
