Lift

I NEED SOME HELP DECIDING ON WHAT LIFT TO GET, IM PUTTING 35'S ON MY TRUCK AND IM DEBATING ON WHETHER GETTING A 4 OR 6 INCH LIFT.

I KNOW "PRO COMP" ISNT THE BEST KIT ON THE MARKET, BUT ITS GOTTA BE HALF WAY DECENT, I HOPE.

THANKS FOR THE REPLIES, IN ADVANCE

How much money do you wanna spend on the lift? You could go with a fabtech. For a couple hundred more dollars they ride and perform better in the dirt.

Either way if you go with a 4 or a 6 inch 35's would look good. But if you getthe 6 inch you might want to go with 37's. Do you have 4x2 or 4x4?

I paid $950 for the fabtech. How much did you get quoted for the procomp? Are you looking to spend $1000 in the lift or the lift and tires?

Fabtechs also make your ride quality alot smoother, at least it did it for me. When the truck would go over bumps it would feel like the rear end is swaying to the right or left and the lift stopped that. Also the fabtech lifts are reall strong

With the 3.5" hanger kit you may have to trim in the front for 35" tire clearance, depending on your wheel offset........5.5" will clear 35's no problem

It would be a pain to clear the 35's but you can do it though. How much is the 3.5?

tonetone313,
I have a set of 5.5" Fabtech springs I took off of my excursion that you can have if you pick them up. I also have a set of Procomp Xtreme all-terrain 37x13.5x18 tires for sale. I got a new super duy so I lowered the excursion down to 3" for the wife.
