ABS light
Hey guys I had my abs light on my 2000 XLT come on the other day. I checked all my connections and fluid level. Everything seems good. Can a code reader find out what is wrong with them or do I need to take it in and have some one look at it. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

my 2002 did that at 60,000 miles. found the rear ABS sensor in the axle was dirty on the end. cleaned it off and it worked for 1000 miles and dirty again. changed the oil and flushed out the axle and cleaned the sensor and has been o.k. for 15,000 miles.
