Hi William What I need to know today is about the fan I am putting on my truck
It is a 6 blade fan, I hope to use this fan in place of the 4 blade fan, My thought is that it will pull more air (witch is important in AZ) to cool rad. SO I thought I would ask what it came from. the Numbers are SC6ME-B 913206n71. I question the n in that sequence of numbers BUT it is as close as i can come to what it is. Please tell me if said fan will not work Your addvice is welcome. Thanks Bill W

Are you sure that's a 6 blade? C6MY-8600-A is a 7 blade fan, first used on 1966 Mercury's with the FE 410. It's also used on the trucks (any engine size) from the 60's thru 1979. It's 19 1/2" in diameter. Very very few 6 blade fans were used on Fords, the normal count is 4, 5 and 7.
Hi William, Yes it is a 6 blade fan, And the funny thing is that it has a small washer pop rivited to one blade ( like it's ballanced ).The fan came with the truck when I bought it.
