351M carb help
79 Bronco, 351M, 2bbl.
It's been sitting up for about 3 months before I bought it. Ran kind of rough at first, then settled down. Then, it started flooding bad. Pulled the top of the breather off and saw gas bubbing out of the barrels - the cause of the flooding. Now I can't get it to stop. Thought the float might be stuck, but tapping on the body of the carb didn't help. Any suggestions?
Also, there is a nipple on the right front of the carb, down next to the gasket. When I kill the engine, vapor comes out of it. When it floods down, gas will drip out. The other 2 bbls I've looked at don't have this on it. Thanks, Dwayne

I guess I don't know the number. Kinda new to 351's. Mostly straight 6's and 1 bbls for me. The only thing I can see on the carb is the "Motorcraft" emblem molded into the housing on the left front corner. Where can I find the number? thanks.

Wow !
That carb comes up representing
All trucks from 78-80 in All 50 States incl. ALT related
with: 5.0 L(302),5.4 L(330),5.8 L(351w)(351M),6.6 L(400)
My point being there doesn't seem to be anything extra special in fact quite the opposite.
I'll check my Carb schematics.
