I have a blue box behind my dash board. It is forward of the cubby hole to the lower right hand side of the steering column. The box seems to be about 5 or six inches side-to-side and maybe an inch thick, not sure how far up it goes. Its a light blue color, like baby blue, made of plastic. Has a foam flap that seems to have been wrapped around it at one point but that hangs loose now. Anybody else have this box? Anybody know what it is??? My best guess would be the premium audio amplifier, but as far as I know, my truck doesn't have that; or at least it isn't as one of the options on the original window sticker.
is that the door buzzer/key in the ignition buzzer box?
Negative. The door/key buzzer is actually attached to the forward side of the this box, so you're in the right area but not the right part. This blue box is much bigger in size, and ITS BLUE!! lol
I'm pretty sure its the airbag module. i know that the mid 90's ford cars used a blue box for the airbag module. so, thats i think it is, not positive, but pretty sure.

Okay I don't want to sound dumb but I don't know if you're pulling my leg or not. That sounds a bit too much like the old "exhaust bearing" or "blinker fluid" routine. Airbag module sounds a lot more realistic since my brother doesn't have the blue box and he doesn't have an airbag.

Well OK it was there on the 80's but I guess the 95 does not have a speed control amplifier.
