Greetings from a newbie
Hello everyone,
I'm a newbie and am very happy to join your group.
I'm a retired Douglas/Boeing Tech Rep with fifty years of aviation experience and a licensed A&P mechanic since 1956.
My vehicles are a 2001 Ranger with a 4 liter v6 and a 2000 Fleetwood Bounder F53 chassis 6.8 l V10. 4r100 tranny. The Moho has 27400 miles and the Ranger has 24500 miles. I use it very seldom.
The Ranger I bought new in jan 2001 and the Bounder I purchased used three years ago.
I'm most interested in the F53 cause since I do most of the work myself I like to have as much accurate tech data as possible. It is a hearty beast but I think it may need a lot more care than your average truck seeing what it does and what it hauls. My chassis is rated at the 20500 range with four wheel abs and hydroboost brakes.
Finding tech info has been tough until I stumbled on this website. I think there are plenty of tech savvy guys on line from what I've seen already.
Hoping to have good reading and lots of info.
