Ashie, (boy, smile when you say that...), what type of hyd setup are you wanting to run? The easy way is to use a hyd throwout bearing, and just fab a bracket for a clutch master cylinder. The parts, minus the bracket, are available in all the hot rod catalogs. I've heard a few bad reports about the reliablity of the hyd throwout bearings, however. I'm using a camaro clutch slave cylinder, and I'm going to try a cherokee master cylinder, which is just a girling mc with the resevoir attached, unlike the camaro mc, which has a remote resevoir. Alittle bracket fabbing and it should be good to go.
I run a hyd setup in my 54. I used a junkyard 59 f100 pedal setup, an old 65 ford single master cylinder I removed the redisual valve from, and an aftermarket external slave cylinder. It runs a T5 so the operation is opposite of a GM 4spd, but that is just a change in slave cylinder selection. I think the externals are alot easier to deal with in a custom setup... at least you don't have to pull the tranny to shim or de-shim.
