power loss

I have a 2002 f-250 that looses power when we use biodiesel. The 2000 f-250 we have run fine on 100% biodiesel. Is there any difference in these 2 engines that would cause this?

No difference, they should both run it the same.

Unless there is some blockage on the '02. How long ago did you change the fuel filter?

We changed the filter when we added the biodiesel, the biodiesel was filtered to 10 microns. It ran fine until the next day.

Is there more than one fuel filter on an F250? I thought I read once that there is one under the hood and one under the cab on the frame rail. Not sure.

Try changing the fuel filter again. When first using biodiesel, especially the higher levels, it can act as a fuel system cleaner and flush out all the builup in the sytem and clog up the filter. Just the one fuel filter under the hood.
