I met Will the other day. Nice boy. Filled him in on what his old BII was up to lately. He gave me the part that goes with his old BII. It's pretty nice and in good shape. Nicer than the one his dad has. I hope it doesn't fall out and on to my rig on the way to Alma.
Hey all-- I'm bad about checking this corner of FTE, I have to admit, and at this time of year it's the worst. I'm down to my last two papers for my master's though, and then I'm done for good! That means, also, that I'll have more free time (probably still not much as the wife has built up a list of to-do's, but more than I got now anyway), and would love to help out with some wiring. I'm working on the dash cluster for the 66 merc, and did a total rewire of the 50 back when restoring it. Wirings probably the only thing I know anything about AND I'm right in Olathe! I live on the east side of 35, next to MidAmerica Nazarene University. Blue's been parked in the driveway lately so if you've been in the area you probably already know where my house is.
Anyway, BII specifics aside, wiring's wiring, and working on trucks is my best stress releiver anyway. So, if you're still doing work on the old beast I'd be happy to meet ya and lend a hand!
I'll probably mess around with it this weekend , between messing with the dogs and finishing up the taxes. I have a better understanding of it now thanks to you. I may be able to get a few things done. We can get together again when things warm up.
Looks like he's been posting over on the Ranger & B Series, and the 4 cyl engine boards.
Friend these problems are very hard to help with on line. It's not that folks don't want to help it's just that many like me are unable to. Give it a little time and some one may come up with info that will help. Some folks don't get on the boards everyday.
