Bigger injectors will do that. Way not reccomended though.

Well, I have a 07 F 250 6.0 with the Edge Juice Platinum Programmer and i have the alert set at at 1250 and sometimes with normal driving it goes crazy beeping and saying that the egt is like 1400! I was just curious cuz I dont wanna blow some **** up. lol

Sometimes it alerts me that they are too high, and i have the programmer set on stock. What about before i even put the programmer on? Was it a problem ya think? hmmm......I dont know alot about "egt" so i guess you think the question is kinda strange.

High EGT & engine temp overheat
Hi Guys I have a 06 SD 6.0power stroke,I have a edge platinum programmer with juice. it has been great till recently.I have had a problem with egt spiking to 700
to 1250 (no change in load what so ever) at cruising stopped vehicle & checkd water leval topped of & then parke truck till sunday drive home.before starting I disconnected edge programer went back to stock setup & drove vehicle back with not one single problem!1 & it was 100 degree weathe I ran the heck out of it on the hills & still ok!! I got home & checked coolant level & didnt lose a drop!!has anyone herd of this before ? I contacted Edge & they said they would send me a complet new unit!! I am a little concerned about having somthing onj my truck that will cause this again!!any words of wisdom would be appricieted thank you Frank
