In my on going quest to repair a 1999 V10 F350, I need to replace the wiring harness under the truck. The front driveshaft ate it when the transfer case let go. Is there a plug in the engine bay where this connects, or does it run right into the fuse box? OH GOD please let there be a plug!
There is a plug on the top side of the driver's side fenderwell. Actually, I think it is a couple plugs. Look for the Ford part number on the harness. I may actually have one that might work for you that you can have.....................PM me for details.
Ok, I found the plugs. Problem is that there are four of them. Two were still connected, but the other two look like the plugs got torn out. Guess that's what happens when the drive shaft eats the harness. The next problem is that from looking at what is left of the harness, I have no flippin clue where the other two would have gone to. There is also a little twig branching off to the bottom of the engine compartment fuse box. Does anyone know of a picture on the web showing these plugs? The local dealer here wasn't too helpfull either.
