The new king
Just picked up my new 2007 F 150 King Ranch 4x4 crew cab with nav, sunroof, and every other option except dvd. Traded in my F 250 2006 King Ranch Diesel. The F 150 drives like a dream and is super quiet. The wife wants to trade cars. Drove everything under the sun and this truck outrode everything. Dealer was great. Can't wait to take it out on the road.

The F 250 was a great truck. However we sold our travel trailer and did not have a need for such a big truck. I am a lawyer and spend a lot of time in the city. The F 250 will not fit in alot of parking garages and is difficult to park on the streets. I love having a truck and needed to have something a little more user friendly. I addition my wife who barely weighs 110 pounds refused to drive it anywhere. The F 150 gave me the best of both worlds in that I still have a King Ranch Ford and I get to keep my wife (for now anyways).

The F 150 is about 2 feet shorter and not as tall. The hieght was the biggest factor because most places I need to park are parking garages with hieght limits. The F 250 just could not go into the garages. So I would end up parking 1 or 2 blocks away and hope that it would not rain. The 250 was great on the open road and could tow a house, but I needed to try something else.

gotta agree with you about that. just from casual looking, I was thinking the SCrew was the same length as a 250 short bed.
