well got my mod on today! question is had a friend over today and he said i had to reset my cumputer brain on my truck in order for my diesel to know its there!is this guy pulling my leg? lol the 6637 mod!

Air flow into the turbo is a purely mechanical action that has nothing to prevent it's flow... except for a mechanical failure or filter blockage of some sort. If there were a damper that was activated based on the trucks "awareness" of things, he might have a point.
