well got my mod on today! question is had a friend over today and he said i had to reset my cumputer brain on my truck in order for my diesel to know its there!is this guy pulling my leg? lol the 6637 mod!

thats what i thought never heard anything like that on here! he got that info from someone he knows that has a diesel. and i keep tellin him that aint true and that i was going to ask all you helpfull ppl on here!problem solved in me eyes!thank you!

Air flow into the turbo is a purely mechanical action that has nothing to prevent it's flow... except for a mechanical failure or filter blockage of some sort. If there were a damper that was activated based on the trucks "awareness" of things, he might have a point.
