Wanted to find out if anyone out there has done the auto sliding rear window on there screw. Any idea what the dealer slaps you for to put one of these in. I found them for I guess compared to ford a good price. Just want to see what the install is going to be like.
I watched a guy put one of those in his 1997 F150. It went in like a dream once the interior panels came off. Pulling those clips was the hardest part of the job.

I've been wanting to put one in my truck as well. I just called a local shop(Campways, Mtn View, CA) and they want $359.99 + $125 to install it.
It's been about twenty years since I put a rear slider in so I'm thinking $125 isn't that bad. But on the other hand the tool to pop off those interior panel clips is probably a lot less and then you'd have the satisfaction of doing it yourself and a little extra gas money.
