According to the Ford manual:
Key on, engine off: 35-45 PSI
Idle:
vacuum hose connected: 25-35 PSI
vacuum hose disconnected: 35-45 PSI
What engine do you have? And what makes you need to check the fuel pressure? Something up with it?

94 ford ranger
it is a 94 ranger with a 4.0L V6 having prolbems with running some times wont start some times it will but strugles to stay running checked the electrial it is all good i belive it is a fuel prolbem not for sure hoppfuly this helps out a little more if you know any thing else that it might be that would be very helpful

you might jus want to change the fuel pump relay, these have been known to go bad. I carry an extra with me (same truck) sometimes wont start when hot, sometimes stumbles upon starting. Did the same as you but the FP checked ok so I just changed the relay and the problem pretty much went away, but returns once in a while so that is why I carry the extra relay. relay in box on driver side fender, only runs about 10-12$.

Yep...my relay went bad as well. $8 for a new one, I have the same truck ('94 4.0L).
Does the fuel pump run strong when the key is turned to Run but the truck not started? Typically intermittent running, rough running, lack of acceleration when pedal is pressed, awkward starting, and similar symptoms can be linked to the fuel pump or relay going bad. Since the relay is easy to get to and cheap, it's the first thing to check.
