Gmc Commercial
On tv last night I saw a gmc commercial that said they have 350 horsepower and get upto 27 mpg. Ford better do some work if they want to keep up with that!

Have to remember those are EPA mileage ratings so in the rear world you might get 22 mpg.

Oh for sure, but still 22 mpg with 350 hp, i dont think the 5.4 does that!

I got 21 with my 5.4 last summer, but I drove it like there was an egg under the throttle and cruise set at 100.

Last Summer I got 23 with the 5.4 I used to have with the cruise set at 100 and good conditions. My Dad has a friend that just bought a new '07 chev and he complains that his mileage is very bad.

Lol i doubt they get that the have that deactivated cyl so cruising only 4 cyl are running then when you step on it all 8 kick in gmcs trucks dont have 350 hp either maybe the 6.0l but the 5.3 has like 315 320

naaa...we understand why the ch#$y's need that much power right??? how are ya going to lug all that crap on 4 wheels with 200 horse??? i see toy boasting 381hp in their newspaper ad...i'd like to see them all on the dyno myself...see what the end result is at the rear wheels...

And trust me fellas I still wouldnt buy a chevy. But if you get a chance, watch the commercial. They do seem appealing through there!
