Camber

I had my torsion bars turned up on my 2004 4x4 Ranger and the alignment guy that did it took the ecentrics off of the upper control arm bolts so he could achieve proper camber. I didn't realize he had done that until I was out in the dirt on saturday and developed one hell of a rattle. Turns out that without th ecentric holding my bolts in place they worked themselves loose. I never would have had him do it if I knew he was going to do something so dangerous. So my question is, where can I get new ecentrics and bolts that will support my bars being turned? I was wondering about the set Eibach sells for lowered trucks if maybe it would work on my truck.

They make replacement eccentrics for these that will both hold the position and allow for adjustment. Just about any reputable alignment shop will know how to install and adjust these (most probably stock a set or two.) I know MOOG has sets available, I'd imagine just about any suspension part manufacturer would have their own version.

The guy that removed the eccentrics IMO probably isn't too experienced with these, and just didn't know any better.. I would still ask for a refund though and find a better alignment shop to go to.

The sad thing is that he is rated as the best truck and semi alignment guy in north america by every major trucking magazine for the last eight years.
